an example of Victorian Gothic architecture. The clock tower has clocks on three sides only - east, west, and south. The story is that the north side faces Wales and the city didn't want to give the time of day to the Welsh.
This double door was for royalty only. The rest of the doors were singles and painted using one colour - either red, blue, pink, etc. This is one of the Georgian row houses on Merrion Square.
