THE SEVEN SEAS EXPLORER
THE SEVEN SEAS EXPLORER
The public areas of the ship are beautiful. Exquisite art work decorates shelves. The lighting is hand-blown glass especially commissioned for the ship as is the artwork. My pictures don't do it justice. We are blown away. Both of us vow to take a longer trip on this ship sometime in the future. Bill told us that Regent is building another cruise ship that will be ready in 2020 that he thinks may be even more spectacular than this one. There are 337 cabins and a maximum capacity of 750 guests. So far the sailing has been as smooth as glass. We cannot tell when we are at sea or in port!
Our room is extremely well designed. We have more storage than we need - plenty of drawers, lots of room in the walk-in closet not only for our clothes but our suitcases too. There is a light switch for everything - even a special one that will turn on a nightlight so you can find your way to the biffy at night without waking up your partner. The balcony is about the same size as my apartment's holding three reclining wicker chairs and a large table. Too bad we are sailing in a climate that prevents us from enjoying it to the fullest.
We can watch all the latest movies, check our accounts, check out the day's menus, watch a channel that explains the shore excursions, keep up on the news, etc., etc., etc. We could spend all day in our room!
