THE UNSCHEDULED SEA DAY
THE UNSCHEDULED SEA DAY
Not much to report on the sea day as we spent most of the day lounging around, watching the movie, 'Moonlight' , and napping. At dinner last night, we discussed the fact that our shore excursion's time had been changed and instead of leaving at 9:45 it was changed to 8:30. Then we learned that the tender ride was between 30 and 40 minutes each way. That did it. We cancelled our visit to Coleton Fishacre and another small picturesque town to shop. That would have extended the time away from the ship from 4 1/2 hours to 5 1/2 hours and that seems to be too much for us these days. We remember how on our first cruises, we would choose the longest shore excursions - not any more. Much too tiring. We are either getting much older or much wiser. I suspect the former. So we have another Sea Day tomorrow!
