TRAVEL DAY

TRAVEL DAY

We both awoke early at first light (4:30) for me and an hour later for Norma. We were met by our taxi at 7:00 and proceeded to the Southhampton Airport. On the way, Victor stopped so I could take a picture of the elusive Manor House. We had been led astray by the hotel staff who had given us the wrong street. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that it was Norma who remembered to ask about it.

We had an hour's wait in the tiny lounge and are now flying over the English Channel on our way to Amsterdam where we hope to find our luggage and the driver from Tauck to take us to the Intercontinental Hotel where we have a two-night stay.
