WE LOVE SEA DAYS

WE LOVE SEA DAYS

This morning we nibbled breakfast at The Cafe - a small coffee bar that serves limited breakfast offerings such as fruit, yoghurt, and pastries as neither of us were very hungry. We had agreed the night before to meet and go over our shore excursion choices - many of the times had changed. From there we went to the Destination Desk and exchanged some of our tickets.

We found out that when you have a Sunday at sea, a lavish brunch is served in the dining room from 9:30 to 1:30. Bill had been in to sample it and said that we should go in, if even just to look. Of course, looking wasn't enough - we all sat down and indulged. The selection was enormous. There is no way you could sample everything. I took some pictures and will try to send them to give you an idea of the sumptuousness of it all!

At some point, we decided to visit the boutiques on board (they are only open when the ship is sailing). I spotted a soft-sided luggage bag which would be perfect for our trip to Africa next year. We are limited to one bag - 10x12x24 - and this one fit the bill. Got a matching Go-To bag as well. That used up my ship-board credit.

After a nap, we got dressed for dinner, met at the Meridian Lounge for pre-dinner drinks and went again to the Pacific Rim Restaurant. Thus endeth our day.
